Theory of !resonances is an active management framework that transforms
reactive response to the event flow into its predictive analysis and proactive regulation.

Dopamine and Exploratory Behavior: Control of !dop+ and !dop-

Dopamine* is a neurotransmitter that provides the biological function of working for the future.

When an organism's basic needs (food, sleep, safety) are met, the exploratory behavior (EB) mode is engaged:

  • In animals: After eating and resting, the animal begins to explore territory, sniff objects, and study the landscape. The biological essence is creating a "data reserve" of retreat routes and shelters in case of an external threat.

  • In humans: When basic needs are satisfied, the activation of EB forces one to play games, watch movies, surf the web, read books, or immerse oneself in hobbies. The essence is the same—to build a resource of knowledge or experience in case of emergency circumstances.

The Influence of Dopamine on Decision-Makers (DM) Under High Uncertainty

In the context of decision-making and managing business processes, dopamine imbalances lead to critical cognitive biases.

└──► [!dop-]: Chaotic EB ────────────► Fixation on someone else's !r

1. Elevated Dopamine: The !dop+ Operator

Causes an acute desire "to want and to achieve": scaling a business, building a complex device, or making a discovery.

!dop+ forms a closed feedback loop: the stronger the desire, the more dopamine is released, which heats up the focus even further. A distortion occurs in the cognitive system: the decision-maker experiences hyperactivation, repeatedly tries non-working options that have been checked multiple times, and takes unreasonable risks.

2. Decreased Dopamine: The !dop- Operator

Creates a background emotional state of "wanting something, but not knowing what exactly."

The natural biological task of this state is to force a person to engage in exploratory behavior (EB) that will "hook" them and shift the endocrine system into !dop+ mode. If this process is not consciously controlled, chaotic EB occurs.

Example of distortion under !dop-:

A decision-maker under the influence of !dop- makes a rash move (for example, a spontaneous vacation). There, they are attracted by a random local factor, emotional anchors emerge, and the person begins returning to the exact same place annually, considering it "special." In terms of the Theory of !resonances, this is called taking an unnecessary !resonance.

Summary: The states of !dop+ and !dop- are extremely destructive when making decisions in the zone of uncertainty, as they shift the focus of the decision-maker from objective analysis to intuitive and emotional impulses.

Tools for Stabilizing the Dopamine Background

Working with dopamine states in t!r is based on simple and technological techniques for calibrating the subconscious.

1. Neutralization of !dop+ (Principle of Simulating Achievement)

Since !dop+ is maintained by a feedback loop, a mirrored neutralizing technique ("tricking the subconscious") is applied to it:

  1. With a slight cognitive effort, hold the thought: "That which I so acutely desire has already been achieved."

  2. If a new impulse to scale arises: "And this, too, has already been achieved."

  3. Within 2–3 minutes of performing the exercise, dopamine production decreases through the same feedback loop, and the endocrine background completely stabilizes.

2. Neutralization of !dop- (Redirecting Exploratory Behavior)

The !dop- state does not require complex cognitive exercises:

  1. Do not relieve the !dop- impulse through random external stimuli (hobbies, entertainment, spontaneous actions).

  2. Direct the impulse toward the target workflow that requires a solution.

  3. Only a minimal starting effort is required: after a few minutes of focus, dopamine begins to be produced directly for the current work task, returning the system to a resource balance.

* Note on Methodological Simplification:

The biological description of processes in this chapter is provided in a simplified form. The proposed tools serve exclusively to solve a practical task—the operational stabilization of the decision-maker's emotional background at the crisis point (Le Chatelier). To perform this function, a detailed description of biochemical cascades is not required; therefore, the neurobiological part is outlined schematically.
